The Cambridge AICE Program is recognized by many universities in the U.S. and abroad. The Cambridge website has a College Recognition page that can easily identify universities that recognize the Cambridge AICE Curriculum and Examinations.

- Select International AS and A Level for the recognition details
- Visit the Recognition Search Page
- Select Country, State, and Institution type
- Select “AS/A Levels” for General Qualifications

University Course Equivalents
The Florida Department of Education has established credit course equivalencies for AICE, AP and IB programs. The Statewide Articulation Manual provides a detailed description of all those agreements. The CREDIT-BY-EXAM EQUIVALENCIES report outlines the credit equivalencies that should be rewarded for successful completion of these exams. Other universities throughout the United States accept AICE credits. Please refer to the letter below regarding the "language" to use with out-of-state universities. These universities' policies may be accessed on the CIE website. If a university does not currently accept AICE credits, CIE will contact that institution to discuss the policy.
Candidates who have an accepted place at a University can request a Cambridge Examination Results Transcript by completed the request form and emailing it directly to CIE.

Common Application
Students applying for colleges using Common Application need to read the following:
AICE courses are listed under the “international’ heading. Students must check “yes” under International Students” in the “Education” section and scroll to “GCE A Levels” to begin entering the AICE Courses. Under “Education” classes, the student lists the current courses as AS or A Level. In reference to the exams already tested, students will click “Testing”, not “Education” to scroll down and find “GCE A Levels”. Then, they proceed to enter exams and grades earned on those exams. |
