Dual Enrollment (DE) Admission Requirements
You don't need to be top of your class to be a Dual Enrollment student, but you'll want to be prepared for the DE course you choose. Some DE classes have recommended courses you should take first, and all DE courses ask that you come willing to do your best work. To choose a DE course that's right for you, talk to a Guidance counselor or teacher about the subjects that interest you and ask about your options for learning the skills to help you succeed.

How much High School credit is each Dual Enrollment course worth?
Each course irrespective if it is Honors, Pre-AICE, Dual-Enrollment, Advanced Placement or AICE is worth 1 credit.
A = 4.0 B = 3.0 C = 2.0 D = 1.0 F = 0.0
You can work out you GPA by adding all the points from the courses you have taken and dividing them by number of courses you have taken. This gives you your average, unweighted GPA.

How much College credit is each Pre-AICE / Honors course worth?
Pre-AICE / Honors courses are not college credit courses. They intent is to prepare candidates with the skills required to take the more rigorous AICE & Advanced Placement courses which are worth college credit.
